Yukan Club

Yukan Club starring Akanishi Jin, Yokoyama Yu, Taguchi Junnosuke, Minami, Suzuki Emi, and Kashii Yu.



Shochikubai Miroku is the son of the police commissioner (father) and world traveler for a mother. Miroku is strong & dependable with a caring heart. He has a love for motorcycles and other such engineering and electrical things. I consider him to be the heart behind the Yukon Club.


Kikumasamue Seishiro is the rich son of doctor (his father owns the hospital).Seishiro is well-rounded and knowledgeable about various, including being a martial arts expert. I consider him to be the the major master mind behind the Yukan Club.



Bido Granmarie is a horse racer whose father is the Swedish Ambassador. Bido is a pretty boy play boy who is rumored to date many women at once. I consider him to be exactly what he is (the pretty boy/play boy) of the Yukan Club.



Kenbishi Yuri is the daughter of the world renowed wealthy president of the Kenbishi Corporation. Her athleticism out does most mens. Her main interest is eating though. I consider Yuri to be the "brawn" of the Yukan Club.



Kizakura Karen is the daughter of a jewel dealer (mother) who hopes to marry a rich man by winning him over with her body and style. I consider Karen to be the female version of Bido though she doesn't date many men at the same time like Bido dates lots of women at once.



Noriko is the rich daughter of a famous Japanese painter (father) while her mother is from a traditional tea ceremony family. Noriko despises all men (except the boys in the Yukan Club). I consider Noriko to be the level headed girl of the Yukan Club.

Each episode is a different plot unique to itself. The Yukan Club investigate various cases in order to spend money and pass time away with the best intentions of their hearts wrapped up in the mix. It's a silly way to deal with serious problems... and some not so serious and just plain strange problems. These six students are the elite of the school but elite in their own personal way. It's not because they're rich or their parents are famous. They have the heart to go the distance to help a friend in need... or even a complete stranger.

I enjoyed watching this drama. It has some serious issues without being overly dramatic about them... they put a fun twist on things.
