Koizora, also known as Sky of Love, staring Mizusawa Elena and Seto Koji.
Tahara Mika has a run in with Sakurai Hiroki (Hiro) one day at school. Hiro takes it upon himself to steal Mika's first kiss from her. Though at first she is upset with Hiro about it she can't seem to keep her thoughts off of him. Mika finds out that Hiro was still dating a girl when he stole her first kiss from her. This upsets Mika and she confronts Hiro. Hiro explains that he only wants to be with Mika and that he will break up with the other girl.
Mika and Hiro eventually end up together. This sets Hiro's ex-girlfriend, Saki, off and she attacks Mika. Hiro is so mad at Saki for this that he's wanting to fight her himself but Mika doesn't allow it.
Mika and Hiro go through a lot of ups and downs in their relationship but always seem to work it out in the end. Until one day something terrible happens to Hiro. In order to spare Mika the pain and heartache of having to deal with his situation, Hiro breaks up with Mika and tells her he never wants to see her again.
Mika is heartbroken. It takes her a long time to get her life back on track but deep down she knows she will never be the same without Hiro and no one will be able to take his place.
This drama is very touching. Being able to following along two peoples' lives and go through with them the obstacles they have to face to prove their love for each other let's you really think about what's important in life. I recommend you have a box of tissues beside you when you watch this. If you're like me, you'll use to whole box before the show is over with.
Here is a fan made video. The song is Ai no Uta by Fukui Mai. It is the ending song to the drama.
